2024 Grant Winners

22Mohawks – To support the Pups for Vets companion dog program.

Buddy Dog Humane Society – To support the transport program, veterinary services, animal training, and community outreach efforts.

Easterseals Massachusetts (ESMA) – To support the Equestrian Barn to provide one-of-a-kind therapeutic horsemanship programs.

MetroWest Humane Society – To continue providing life-saving services on behalf of local cats.

MSPCA – To support the Community Outreach Program as it expands to new areas of Massachusetts.

Newhouse Wildlife Rescue – To provide rehabilitation services to orphaned and injured wildlife, and to support the building of a new clinic.

Return2Wild Wildlife Rehabilitation – To expand the program’s reach and scope of services to include more species and medical treatments.

Salem Animal Rescue League – To support expanding medical capabilities by acquiring cost-saving equipment.

Salem Police Working Dog Foundation – To support Salem Police Department’s K-9 Unit, ensuring each dog receives necessary medical care and ongoing training.

The Humane Society for Greater Nashua – To support advocating for and enhancing the lives of animals while educating the community to strengthen the human-animal bond.

Watertown Police Department – To support a facility dog for the department with the intent of serving local school, senior, and public health initiatives.

2023 Grant Winners

Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts – To support the Life is Precious program, dedicated to treating the medical needs of animals.

Commonwealth Zoological Corporation – To support hiring a full-time Animal Welfare and Enrichment Advisor.

FramBARK – To support safety improvements and educational outreach at Farm Pond Dog Park, as well as hosting events that sustain a sense of community among local dog owners.

Golden Opportunities for Independence (GOFI) – To support the Retrieve a New Start and Train the Trainer programs, including educational materials and training facility improvements.

House Rabbit Network – To support the opening of an on-site veterinary clinic to support the needs of rabbits, including offering affordable spay/neuter services.

Lowell Humane Society – To support homeless pets in need of medical care in order to begin their next chapter in a new home.

New England Wildlife Centers – To provide veterinary care to wild animals and outreach education programs.

Operation Delta Dog – To support rescued shelter dogs being raised and trained as service dogs in a home environment, resulting in 25 percent more matches for veterans on the waiting list.

Tufts Paws for People – To support adequate staffing for two essential employees.

Unity Farm Sanctuary – To support expanding the human education program to reach 1,000 young people in Eastern MA, focusing on building human-animal bonds. 

Vintage Pet Rescue – To support the Veterinary Assistance Program, which improves the lives of senior pets and their owners through financial assistance for critical veterinary care.

Animal Rescue League of Boston – To  support three animal care and adoption centers.

Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (MSPCA) – To provide affordable and accessible animal care resources to families in Boston’s most underserved neighborhoods.

Northeast Animal Shelter – To support the animal relocation program.

Raptor Tales Rescue – To support general operating expenses to rescue, rehabilitate, and release raptors.

Stray Pets In Need – To build an isolation room for sick pets and a quarantine room for new pets entering the facility.
